Logrones Denver SC failed to stop the Western Conference Champions

January 28, 2019 - Irvine (Cal.) - Over the weekend, California United FC II did battle with Logrones SC in a high scoring affair.
Unfortunately for Logrones SC the goals were in favor of Cal United FC II and the game ended 9-1.
Cal United FC II striker Miguel Rincon quickly made his mark netting a brace just before the thirty minute mark.
Another goal by Cal United FC II made the score 3-0 but this time Logrones SC had a response. A well executed set play by Logrones SC from the corner spot resulted in a long distance finish from just outside the box by Julio Rodriguez.
A competitive first half got out of hand in the second half as Cal United FC II were able to add 5 more goals and Kevin Jeon and Andy Contreras were able to contribute two braces of their own.
Cal United FC II will go on to face the Central Conference Champions Inocentes FC in the UPSL National Championship on Saturday Feb. 9.
