January 28, 2019 - Savannah (Ga.) - UPSL newcomers Germantown City FC and veterans Inocentes FC played their hearts out in a hard fought semifinal game.
A total of three penalties were taken between the two teams. Inocentes FC scored on their lone penalty try courtesy of Oscar Romero just five minutes after Germantown City FC had failed to convert from the penalty spot.
Inocentes FC were able to add on two more goals to gain a 3-0 lead through fifty minutes.
A second penalty was awarded to Germantown City FC and this time they were able to capitalize making it 3-1 but unfortunately were unable to make a comeback as they had in their previous game with Miami Sun FC.
Inocentes FC will go on to face Western Conference Champions Cal United FC II on Saturday Feb. 9, in what is sure to be a fitting ending to the successful 2018 UPSL Fall Season.
