UPSL National Player Of The Week: Newcastle United FC’s Jonathan Garcia

Newcastle United FC Attacking Midfielder Had Three Goals in 6-0 Victory

November 21, 2017 – Los Angeles – Newcastle United Football Club attacking midfielder Jonathan Garcia has been named UPSL National Player of the Week. A native of Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.), Garcia scored three goals in a 6-0 victory over Atlas FC USA in a UPSL Championship Division Western Conference game on Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017.

Garcia started and played 90 minutes for Newcastle United FC (7-1-0 overall), which remains near the top of the table in the UPSL 2017 Fall Season Championship Division Western Conference table.

A graduate of Los Osos High School in Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.), Garcia previously played at Arsenal FC South in the U.S. Development Academy. 

The UPSL National Player of the Week is selected each week of the regular season by members of the league and journalists covering the UPSL.
