July 19, 2019 - Los Angeles - Brushing away memories of goals unfulfilled and victories denied, Southwest FC and OKC 1889 FC are now on a collision course.

Southwest FC hosts OKC 1889 FC in a 2019 UPSL Spring Season Quarterfinal at 6 p.m. MT on Saturday, July 20, at El Paso (Texas)'s Eastside Sports Complex.

Southwest FC (8-1-1 overall) took just one loss - to Sporting AZ FC - during a dominant UPSL regular season but came up short in its attempt to qualify for the 2019 U.S. Open Cup. In the tightly-contested UPSL Southest Conference playoffs, however, Southwest FC managed a 2-1 victory over FC Grande, then edged High Plains Drifters FC, 3-2, in the final.

OKC 1889 FC (7-3-2) finished second in the Central Conference North Division, scoring 33 goals againt just 14 allowed, then followed with 3-1 win over Reign FK and a 2-0 victory over Almeyda FC in the opening playoff rounds. Against Inocentes FC - the reigning conference champions - in the final, OKC 1889 FC found itself trailing 1-0 before turning the tables and emerging with a 2-1 victory with goals from Jake Simpson and Llewelly Evans.

Now, only one team will advance. Which will it be?
