April 9, 2018 – Los Angeles – The United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) is excited to announce Dallas Elite FC as a new member starting with the 2018 Spring Season.

Based in Dallas (Tex.), Dallas Elite FC begins UPSL play in the Central Conference, and will host its home games at 5,000-seat Prestonwood Christian Academy Lions Stadium (6801 West Park Blvd., Plano, TX 75093) in compliance with UPSL's Minimum Standards.

United Premier Soccer League Commissioner Yan Skwara said, "The Dallas market is one of the hottest in the country, and we're pleased to welcome Dallas Elite FC to the United Premier Soccer League. Dallas Elite FC has built a solid foundation for future professional players, and now they want to develop their outdoor brand into a year-round program. We wish Archie Obregon every success as Dallas Elite FC prepares to kick off in the UPSL in 2018."

Archie Obregon is Owner and President of Dallas Elite Football Club. Born in Mexico and raised in Dallas (Tex.), Obregon played varsity soccer at Dallas' W.T. White High School and is a veteran of the local amateur ranks.

Dallas Elite FC Owner and President Archie Obregon said, "The UPSL opened up in Texas and we knew we wanted to join the UPSL's Promotion/Relegation Model. It's an opportunity, we saw it and the process to join has been much more accessible than the roadblocks put in place by the NPSL. We want to compete and prove ourselves on the field, and get the chance to participate in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup is something we take very seriously."

"Once you're a member of the UPSL you can apply for a Qualifying Round game, and that will mean big things for us," said Obregon, 39, an entrepreneur and business owner, operating an Allstate Insurance office in Dallas. "We're a very competitive team with a lot of talented players from academies and colleges, some really top-notch players that are going to change the level of expectations for us at the professional level."

Dallas Elite FC was a member of the Premier Arena Soccer League (PASL) from 2013-'15 and was the 2015 PASL Champion. The club also has competed at various Copa Alianza tournaments since 2010, and is the three-time winner of Copa Alianza Dallas (2014-'16) and the 2015 winner of Copa Alianza Houston.

Carlhino Fernandez, 30, is the club's Vice President. Ever Alvarado, 32, is the club's Director of Operations. Carlos Videla, 30, is the team's Head Coach. Bruno Guarda, 32, is the team's Assistant Coach. Lenin Hernandez, 38, is the club's Staff Coordinator.

The club soon will announce its game schedule.
